This month, Heatfinders has welcomed a new apprentice to our ever growing team – Harry. Harry will be helping our engineers Simon and Russell on their daily tasks, learning basic plumbing skills and heating techniques such as bleeding radiators and installing thermostatic radiator valves.
Apprenticeship schemes are becoming an increasingly popular way for young people to enter the working world, allowing them to learn a trade and gain valuable on-the-job experience whilst earning a wage.
One of the biggest benefits of running an apprenticeship scheme is that it helps create a loyal, dedicated workforce. With today’s high unemployment hitting the UK’s youngest the hardest, they are looking to join companies that will invest in their training and development.
Harry has got off to a wonderful start! Its great to have him on board.
